LMG Shopper Loyalty program provides LMG the ability to deliver the following benefits to our Members:

Greater shopper insights, including frequency and value of shops, promotional offers redeemed and product preferences;

An additional and more efficient marketing medium to compliment LMG’s existing programs
LMG retailers will benefit from promotions which are targeted to your shoppers with products and promotions which are relevant to them. The benefit of loyalty and these promotions are that it will win more shoppers and shopping occasions for LMG retailers.
- Loyalty Shopper only pricing (Public Loyalty) – Limited number of products in each promotion (3-5 per category) which are advertised through marketing (catalogues, etc.), instore POS tickets, electronic direct mail (EDM), app and websites;
- Loyalty Shopper everyday offers (Private Loyalty) – offers which are specific to a Loyalty member and communicated to them individually through EDM or their app;
- Loyalty Shopper personalised offers – personalised rewards, exclusive offers, trial offers or frequent purchasing benefits which are available to individual loyalty members for redemption instore or online.
- Loyalty Shopper birthday gifts and more – rewards for loyalty shoppers and seasonal promotions which can be redeemed instore or online;
- Loyalty Shopper exclusive competitions – competitions which are exclusive to loyalty shoppers, along with more simplified competition entry mechanics;
There are no points to collect or membership status to climb with a LMG Loyalty. It’s a rewards program designed off the 5 pillars of benefits we’ve created that will offer market leading benefits for shoppers.

LMG has worked with a number of preferred POS partners to integrate and provide this service to LMG members. LMG continues to work with POS vendors to support LMG members, however we are not able to integrate with each. Please ask your LMG BDM if your POS vendor is not listed below:

ON-PREMISE LOYALTY
LMG Loyalty has been designed as a Retail loyalty program which can be applied across all bannered outlets. At this stage, the program is retail loyalty only and not intended to apply to on-premise transactions.

EXISTING VENUE LOYALTY PROGRAMS
LMG Members who have an existing loyalty programme at their venue can maintain their existing programs. LMG Loyalty will have a range of promotional offers which can be communicated to your customer data base to encourage sign up to LMG Loyalty and extend the benefits.
CAN LMG COPY MY EXISTING DATABASE?
Loyalty customers must elect to accept terms and conditions of sign up to LMG Loyalty and it is not possible to simply copy and paste existing customer records. Privacy Laws have strict conditions and penalties which prevent sharing of customer personal information without consent.
HOW DO WE ENCOURAGE EXISTING OUTLET LOYALTY CUSTOMERS TO SIGN-UP TO LMG LOYALTY?
LMG Members who have existing loyalty schemes can work with their LMG BDM to develop a introductory promotion which is extended to your current customers to redeem through LMG Loyalty on sign-up.
LMG Loyalty will be launched with a range of offers to customers to encourage sign-up. These offers will be supported with deeply discounted loyalty shopper only pricing, instore POS and signage.
LMG Loyalty has a simple sign up process through scanning a QR code. This sign up option is easy and undertaken by the customer, which will limit requirements for store staff to support sign up process or collection of customers details.
In-store customer service is critical for the success of the loyalty program and training and additional support will be provided to stores. The time taken to sign up loyalty customers will deliver ongoing benefits to LMG members.
LMG Loyalty is provided through ZEN, a wholly owned subsidiary of LMG. The ZEN platform integrates in real time with POS through APIs. The average processing time for a loyalty transaction takes less than a second and will not normally be noticeable.
PRICING ADVICE
LMG Promotional advice will incorporate advice on which products are offered for loyalty shopper pricing (Public loyalty) within each promotional period. The promotional advice will advise gross profit on non-loyalty shopper transactions and loyalty shopper transactions, including any price support which LMG and/or suppliers provide to support the loyalty offer.
Loyalty shopper everyday offers (Private loyalty) is unique offer to the Loyalty customer. LMG Promotional advice will incorporate advice on which products are offered for Private loyalty within each promotional period. The promotional advice will advise gross profit on non-loyalty shopper transactions and loyalty shopper transactions, including any price support which LMG and/or suppliers provide to support the loyalty offer.
PRICING LOADING
Loyalty shopper pricing (Public loyalty) and Loyalty shopper everyday offers (Private loyalty) will be included within the promotional file pricing download from LMG. These price levels will be applied to the loyalty pricing tier within your POS and only apply when a valid LMG Loyalty shopper transaction occurs.
PERSONALISED OFFER AND BIRTHDAY GIFTS & MORE
Personalised offer and birthday gift & more are discounts which are redeemable by the LMG loyalty shopper upon recording their loyalty details on qualifying transactions. These discounts are recorded within the ZEN data collection and qualifying discount amounts will be remitted to LMG members.
No. Loyalty provides LMG another tool to use to engage with Shoppers. We believe that it is important to engage with our Loyal shoppers (those that have a Loyalty membership) along with winning more shoppers to our stores through catalogues, social / digital and continuing to enhance our brand appeal.
LMG will continue to work with Suppliers to deliver a balance of great promotional pricing along with buying opportunities for members.
LMG loyalty is designed to enhance price perception for customers through the option of becoming a Loyalty customer, while managing margins through price support for Loyalty offers and category management across other promotions.
LMG member margins through POS may be impacted through loyalty discounts which are reimbursed, similar to scan rebate. LMG will manage discount loading to manage this impact with a balance of off-invoice and reimbursed (scan) discounts.
The number of products will vary per promotional period, however it is envisaged that Loyalty Shopper Pricing (Public Loyalty) will be on lead lines in each category (e.g. 3-5 products per category). Public Loyalty pricing will be included within LMG promotional advice and incorporated on price tickets within point of sale packs. Private Loyalty pricing will be included within LMG promotional advice, but will not appear on price tickets.
Loyalty schemes incorporate information which is governed by Australian Privacy Laws, including Privacy Act. These laws require the promoter of the Loyalty scheme to be compliant with strict conditions, including maintaining control and not sharing personal information. LMG will be able to share non-personal information insights with members, like frequency of shop for de-identified customers, however personal information and contact details can not be shared.
How much does it cost to implement LMG Loyalty for my retail?
Nil. LMG is able to provide loyalty to LMG members with compatible POS through ZEN platform, a wholly owned subsidiary of LMG. LMG is providing loyalty to members as a benefit of being an LMG member.
How do I sign up for LMG Loyalty?
Your LMG BDM will advise you when LMG Loyalty is accessible at your Outlet and provide a Loyalty Membership agreeement.
